Medical Directors

Dr. Richard Donnard, DO
Dr. Donnard is a graduate of Penn State University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (P.C.O.M.). He completed a rotating internship at Doctors Hospital of Columbus and a Residency in Family Medicine at P.C.O.M. Dr. Donnard is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics, and Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and has served in various faculty positions at P.C.O.M. including Vice Chairman of Family Medicine. For the past 12 years he has been in private practice as a family physician with Medical Surgical Associates in Newark.

Dr. Thomas Petryk, MD
Dr. Petryk graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine as a Doctor of Allopathic Medicine. He completed both an Internship and Residency at Grant Medical Center. Dr. Petryk is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He is currently in private practice with Medical Surgical Associates of Newark.

Dr. Carl Waggoner, MD
Dr. Waggoner graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his surgical internship through Indiana University Hospitals, his surgical residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon and returned to Ohio for his family practice residency program at The Ohio State University. Dr. Waggoner is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Before joining Hospice of Central Ohio full-time in July 2006, Dr. Waggoner practiced family medicine in Newark for 20 years.
