What Services We Provide?

Hospice care treats the patient with palliative (comfort) care. This includes physical, emotional, spiritual, psycho-social, and bereavement support to patient, family, and friends. Hospice does not attempt to hasten death nor prolong life.

Services are available regardless of type of diagnosis, age, sex, race, creed, or ability to pay. Hospice care also includes medications and medical equipment related to the terminal illness.

Hospice understands that "home" means different things to different people. Our services can be provided wherever you call home, which can include:

• Hospice in the Home
• Hospice in a Homelike Setting such as a nursing home or assisted living facility
• The Selma Markowitz Care Center
• Respite Care
• Bereavement Services
